I was able to have my dream wedding thanks to Kait! After multiple covid cancellations, I was extremely anxious about planning my wedding. As soon as Kait stepped in, my nerves were immediately settled. Kait is so calm and patient and she has the perfect personality for a wedding planner. I am an interior designer and had a very specific vision for the overall aesthetic. Kait has fantastic taste and completely brought my wedding inspiration to life. I was thrilled with how every detail came out. She was also extremely flexible- we changed the plans from indoor to outdoor in a tent to inside again and she never made us (me and my family) feel bad for the inconvenience. The weekend of my wedding Hurricane Henri hit and we had to cancel the entire event! Kait rescheduled every single vendor for the next day and made our Monday Night wedding feel perfect in everyway. We never would have been able to have our wedding without her!!!!

We were fortunate to get referred to Kait by our venue, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, which highly recommended her as the best in the biz, which is big since our venue required wedding planners to meet them to 'approve' of them.

Kait is truly an expert wedding planner, and we were so fortunate to be in her expert hands. She's also very friendly, fun, and always pleasant to work with. She's built amazing vendor relationships over her many years in the biz and introduced us to the most talented stationary provider, florist, and others, and guided us through it all.

On our actual wedding day, Kait kept our nerves calm and in check, and was there for anything we needed. We'll always be grateful to Kait for making our wedding day such a special dream come true!

I went through a very thorough process to find the perfect wedding planner because my husband and I both have demanding jobs, and are not particularly creative. We chose Kait from AaB Creates and she far exceeded our expectations. She is amazing. Kait is extremely organized, positive, and calm. She listened to my opinions (party, classy, acrobats, dim lighting), but was also happy to take the reins where I wasn't interested in being involved (logistics, place setting, the things that tell you what table to go to, many other things). She provided a timeline of key decisions and sent emails to remind me, usually with recommendations. E.g. when we first started planning, Kait sent an email (based on my input) of venues with their available dates and pricing (she had already reached out to them). She then coordinated tours of my favorites and went with me to talk about how an event there could work. That process was repeated for all decision points - recommendations for music, flowers, decor, etc. Most of the time I went with her recommendation, but if I wanted something different, I felt comfortable telling her or sending a link and she would happily send new recommendations, or she would coordinate meeting with a vendor. I am sure she would also work well with someone who was more interested in driving the creative direction but that wasn't me.

Kait also did a great job of tracking the budget and timing of payments (and staying on budget). At one point many payments were due and I met with her, wrote a bunch of checks, and she coordinated delivery of the payments. That was also true for tips on the day of the wedding. We hired her for "full wedding planning" including the welcome dinner, wedding, and brunch, and she was truly full service - from booking wedding dress appointments, handling the assembling and delivery of welcome gifts, to managing all vendors through the whole process and on the day of, and driving the creative vision to create an event that was visually beautiful, so fun, and that flowed seamlessly (no awkward down time, no "where can I get a drink?" She is great at handling quirky family logistics. My Dad was amusingly intense about the wedding invitations so I asked Kait to meet with him to discuss. She brought tons of samples and after he had selected the paper / font, she mailed a sample from the printing press for his sign off before they were finalized. He is also a demanding person so she had one of her planners frequently checking in with him (and an assigned waiter) on the wedding day to see if he needed anything. My parents aren't together and she was great about communicating with them separately and making sure my Mom felt included in the process (but still having the end result match my vision).

Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives and I can truly say it was completely stress-free thanks to Kait and her team. At one point my Mom's dress strap broke and Kait literally sewed it while she wore the dress. She made a million logistics seem effortless but I know that behind the scenes she was telling people where to go and when, ordering late night pizza (!), making sure the lighting and sound were checked in advance, moving flowers from one room to another, telling people when to give toasts, etc. - and letting me not worry about any of that and just have the time of my life! If you are thinking of hiring a wedding planner, hire Kait and your life will be a million times better.

We had the wedding of our dreams thanks to Kait! Kait helped make our vision of an outdoor under the tent (and the stars) wedding celebration come to life in Montauk. Exactly as we wanted, our wedding was super personal to us, with lots of special details and moments. It was later featured in Over The Moon :) There were lots of custom pieces of the event and Kait made sure it all went off smoothly. Having an under-the-tent wedding outside (with a beach ceremony, too in our case) is filled with logistical details that Kait was fully prepared for. I also loved Kait's working style and demeanor - it felt like I was planning my wedding with a trusted friend. I highly recommend Kait.

I worked with Kait for over a year planning my wedding. Being a designer, and incredibly type A, I was reluctant to work with any planner. If I was going to work with someone, they needed to have good taste, be detail oriented, and able to be nimble. Looking back I cannot have imagined going through this process without Kait, which undoubtably made the photos, actual day and memory of sparkle. 

While Kait is extremely professional and great listener, her overall vibe is calm, something I really appreciated. She supported my design centric vision, yet I never felt like I settled or was pressured to spend more. We came up with creative solutions throughout. She seemed to be friends / get along well with all other vendors we brought on. When I needed Kait to make decisions on my behalf I was always able to trust her judgement.

When it came to working with my parents is where Kait went up and beyond. There are so many logistics that you will never think of in advance that come up when planning a wedding, and Kait always had smart solutions. She also is good at negotiating and maximizing value. Kait will plan another future Lester wedding, and I hope to stay friends in the meantime.

Kait was incredibly helpful and a genuine pleasure to work with. Our wedding day was magical and perfect and it would not have been as successful without her. Our wedding plans changed from an intimate local family dinner to a slightly bigger event and all the modifications were stressing us out. Lucky for us, we found Kait 20 days before the wedding as a “day-of coordinator” but she was so much more than that!! She swooped in and almost instantaneously erased all our anxieties! She was familiar with most of our vendors and immediately got to know the others and organized the process. She was super-responsive and readily available to answer questions and quell any issues or concerns. She was super fun to chat with daily, helping to arrange all the details. Kait was a wonderful calming presence the day of the wedding and did all the set-up and running around while we got ready, had our photos taken and thoroughly enjoyed the amazing wedding. I highly recommend her!!
